About Our Programs
Baldwin Wallace University is an NCAA Division III school in the Ohio Athletic Conference. Our coaches and staff run a variety of prospect camps & clinics throughout the year for high school students looking to compete at the collegiate level and youth skills camps for younger players looking to advance their skills. Additionally, our Recreation Department runs outdoor enrichment programs for children ages 8-13.
Prospect Camps & Clinics
Prospect camps are a great way for high school athletes that are interested in playing a sport in college to showcase their abilities & skills, as well as gain an edge in getting recruited by college coaches. High school athletes improve their skills while working & competing with other perspective college athletes under the guidance of our elite college coaches. Many of our prospect camps include lunch with a panel consisting of current college athletes available to answer questions about their collegiate athletic experience.
Youth Skills Camps & Clinics
Youth skills camps and clinics provide youth athletes with the opportunity to build and improve their foundational skills in a safe, competitive, and entertaining environment. They will profit from the hands on and one-on-one training from both elite college coaches and athletes and while competing with other kids. Additional benefits include building confidence and independence, teamwork skills, and problem solving & strategic thinking capabilities.
Run by our BW Lou Higgins Recreation Center staff, the Community Athletics & Recreation department offers a Youth Adventure Sport camp each summer. The full-day camp for campers in 3rd through 8th grade is filled with activities ranging from kayaking and paddle boarding to hiking, survival skills, archery, team games, racquetball, badminton, birdie golf, ultimate Frisbee, swimming, skills drills, disc golf, slacklining, yoga, and more! Campers will learn problem-solving skills, work together in groups, and receive instruction in all areas the camp covers.
