Lacrosse Coach
Brie Martineau ’20 enters her first season as an assistant women’s lacrosse coach at Baldwin Wallace University in 2023.
Martineau returns to her alma mater after serving as the head coach at the Padua Franciscan High School for two years. She created the program at Padua Franciscan and handled everything in that program from the training and strengthening of lacrosse skills to preparing schedules, organizing transportation, and managing supplies/equipment.
In addition to coaching at Padua Franciscan, Martineau was as an account manager and a technical recruiter at TEKsystems for two years. She has also had coaching stops with Ohio Premier Lacrosse Club and Force Lacrosse.
While at BW, Martineau earned a Bachelor of Arts in marketing and was a four-year letterwinner nand two-time All-Ohio Athletic Conference attacker on the women’s lacrosse team. She began her career under previous Coach Kim Russell before playing her last three years under Coach Shoger. In her final two seasons with the Yellow Jackets, Martineau led the team in goals and points. She holds three records at BW including shots on goal in a game (11), free position goals in a game (4), and free position shooting percentage in a game (1.000 – 4/4). Martineau also is in the top-5 in nine different categories on the all-time program leaderboard.
