Baseball Coach
Matt Rosinski will enter his second season as an assistant baseball coach at Baldwin Wallace University in the 2024 season.
Rosinski comes to BW after serving as the head varsity baseball coach at St. Edward High School for the past seven years. At St. Edward, he managed the varsity team to consistently be ranked within the top 25 in the state of Ohio, including several top 10 rankings. He also helped in coordination of the junior varsity and freshman level teams. Rosinski coordinated fundraising opportunities for the annual spring break trip, top facility rentals and upgrades, and the creation of the St. Edward Baseball Lab. Prior to his time at St. Edward, Rosinski was the head junior varsity coach at St. Ignatius from 2014-2015.
He is the founder and owner of Release Baseball LLC, an amateur club to develop players to play at the collegiate level. Rosinski built the program through marketing and promotional strategies. He also ran video analysis, pitching programming and development and running camps and showcases.
In addition to being a baseball coach, Rosinski is also a data analyst at HDT Global.
Rosinski earned a Bachelor of Science in accounting and finance from Miami University of Ohio. While at Miami, he was a four-year member of the baseball team. Rosinski made 104 appearances as a relief pitcher and 12 saves in 136.1 innings pitched with a 4.09 career era and 95 strikeouts. He was named the 2012 Miami University Student-Athlete of the Year.
