Lacrosse Coach
Nicholle Shoger enters her seventh season as the head women’s lacrosse coach at Baldwin Wallace University in 2023. In her six seasons, Shoger has mentored 26 Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference performers, 23 All-Ohio Athletic Conference players and one Academic All-American.
Before BW, Shoger served as the head coach at Wittenberg University for three seasons. At Wittenberg, Shoger led the Tigers to a combined 35-15 record, including a North Coast Athletic Conference Regular Season Championship in her first season in 2015. She followed that up with a second-place finish in the conference in 2016. Her teams earned Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association Academic Honor Squad honors all three years she was at the helm, posting a 3.22 cumulative GPA. Shoger also graduated the NCAC Offensive Player of the Year in 2015, the NCAC Defensive Player of the Year in 2016 and three IWLCA All-Great Lakes Region honorees.
At the club level, Shoger coached two different teams from April 2011 to September 2013 — Aftershock Lacrosse Club and Quaker City Lacrosse Club — where she planned practices, organized tournament schedules, and handled all the on- and off-the-field coaching responsibilities.
As a student athlete, Shoger was a member of the Division I Temple University women’s lacrosse program from 2007-2011, who won both the Atlantic 10 Regular Season and Conference Championship her freshman year. Shoger earned her Bachelor of Arts in speech, language and hearing from Temple University in 2011.
