Choral music educators will discover first-hand the pedagogical skills and resources used to teach Baroque style and technique. By singing in with the BachFestival High School Choir for 4 rehearsals and a performance, educators will learn about performance practice for Baroque music and be asked to model and describe these ideas for their students. The course will culminate with a written reflection and discussion on the experience, and evidence of how the course will impact future classroom planning, programming, and teaching.
Instructors are Dr. Jami Lercher and Dr. Dirk Garner.
