Youth Protection & Compliance Resources and Forms

Baldwin Wallace University Division of Community Learning (DCL) is committed to the health, safety, and wellness of all members of the campus community, including minors who participate in campus activities.

The Minors on Campus Policy at Baldwin Wallace University requires that all university-sponsored, community-based programs, activities, and events that involve interactions with minors must register annually with the Division of Community Learning. The Policy applies to in-person programming as well as to remote/virtual platforms. Please note that this replaces the registration that was previously done in the Risk Management office.

The Division of Community Learning will use the information submitted on this form to review details about the program, activity, or event that involves minors. Upon receipt of your registration, DCL will follow up to review next steps and provide the required documents and training, when applicable.

Initial registration of your program should be submitted AT LEAST 60 DAYS prior to the launch of your program's registration/sign-ups to ensure ample time to complete all compliance requirements. If you have multiple programs running this upcoming semester, reach out to the DCL for a multiple entries excel document.

The BWU Minors on Campus Policy requires that programs involving minors use specific written release forms signed by the parent prior to the event. Approved forms will be provided to you by the Division of Community Learning. All waivers and release forms need to be completed by guardians of minors for every offering.
