Introduction to Cryptography (Middle School – Grades 5-8)

Did you know that math lurks behind writing in secret codes? Students will be introduced to cryptography and a variety of other mathematical concepts aimed at encouraging exploration, as well as kindling a joy for future mathematical and academic pursuits. In teams, students will create messages and solve a campus-wide scavenger hunt with cryptic clues. Campers will experience numerous other opportunities to explore math concepts in a fun and supportive environment. Designed for students entering grades 5 – 8.
