Individualized and Small Group Lessons Focused on Youth Literacy, Language & Learning
Baldwin Wallace University’s Literacy, Language & Learning Summer Programs provide the reinforcement of literacy, language, mathematics, and social skills for students in grades Kindergarten through Fifth.
The three-week, in-person camp is designed for students in general or special education who are in need of intervention or the reinforcement of literacy, mathematics, and/or social skills.
The camp provides a custom experience for every child, with lessons provided individually and in small-groups. The ratio of the program is approximately 1:3 and is led by Baldwin Wallace Teacher Education candidates under the supervision of the Department of Education faculty.
Camp is held at Malicky Center for Social Sciences, 33 E Bagley Rd, Berea, OH.
Please complete the application to give us the best insight into your child and why this camp would be beneficial for them in their educational development. Once the application is submitted, the camp directors will get back to you within three weeks with next steps. There is limited participant capacity so we will not be able to take every student that applies.
For the 2024 camp, cost is $600 per child, which includes a $200 deposit due at the time of application. If you are accepted, you will have payment plan options to submit the remaining balance of $400 to pay for the entirety of the camp. Full payment will be required prior to the first day of camp.
The only refunds will be provided to those who do not get accepted into the program or who cancel before May 1st.
