Dr. Aaron Montgomery is coordinator of the data science and data analytics program. In the classroom, he strives to ensure that students understand ideas rather than simply memorize formulas. His goal is to show students both the real-world applicability and inherent stunning beauty of mathematics, statistics and related fields. His most commonly taught courses are statistics, probability and calculus, but he can occasionally be found teaching other subjects, and he has yet to meet a branch of mathematics that he doesn’t like.
