Baseball Coach

Brian Harrison enters his 14th season as the Head Baseball Coach at Baldwin Wallace University in 2023. The 2019 and 2023 Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Coach of the Year has won 482 career games, including 341 at BW. Harrison has led the Yellow Jackets to National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III National Tournament on six occasions, including the school’s first-ever trip to College World Series in 2014 and consecutive appearances in 2022 and 2023.

Harrison is the 10th head coach in program history and led the team to be the OAC Regular Season Champions in both 2019 and 2023. They were also the OAC Tournament Champions in 2018.They appeared in the NCAA Regional Championship in 2014, 2019, as well as the Super Regional Championship in 2022 and 2023. They also achieved a NCAA College World Series third place finish in 2023.

Prior to coming to BW, Harrison worked as the University of Dayton hitting coach, was an Associate Scout for Cincinnati Reds, was Urbana University’s Head Coach, and Cuyahoga Community College’s Head Coach.

Harrison attended Shawnee State University and was a three-year letter winner in baseball. During his time as an athlete there, he was a NAIA All-American selection, led the team to 5th place finish at the NAIA World Series in 2000, and inducted in their Hall of Fame in 2008.

Westlake, Ohio native and his wife, Traci, reside in North Ridgeville, with their two sons, Braden and Luke and their daughter, Harper.
