Community Basketball Programs

The Baldwin Wallace Men’s & Women’s Basketball Programs offer a variety of different camps throughout the summer. Camps are held on campus at Baldwin Wallace University in Berea, Ohio. Basketball camps include a variety of drills, scrimmages, and activities to enhance athletic ability and improve basketball specific skills. Campers also have the opportunity to interact with our Baldwin Wallace Division III coaching staff and current athletes.

Our basketball camps and clinics are held at Ursprung Gymnasium.

Boys Basketball Day Camp

Run by Head Coach Tom Heil and Associate Head Coach Brian Schmidt, who are assisted by current Baldwin Wallace Men’s Basketball players. Over the course of four days, campers ages 3rd-8th grade get the opportunity to do all things basketball. Campers will gain experience in all the different areas of the sport, as well as 3-on-3 and 5-on-5 games throughout the camp. 2024 dates coming soon!

Girls Basketball Camps

Our four day youth basketball day camp is run by Head Coach Cheri Harrer and Associate Head Coach Cody Hartzler, who are assisted by current Baldwin Wallace Women’s Basketball players. Campers will develop the skills and concepts in the game of basketball. The camp will stress basketball fundamentals and is designed to give full attention to each camper, assuring they receive the necessary individual attention to become a better player. The Baldwin Wallace Women’s Basketball Camp provides each camper with opportunities to grow as a player and to have fun with others who want to learn more about basketball. We will provide quality instructions and a positive fun-filled experience for all campers! 2024 dates coming soon!

Prospect Camps

The Baldwin Wallace Girls Basketball Prospect Camp aims to give individuals who are interested in playing at the next level a “day in the life” experience of a collegiate student-athlete. We will provide individualized feedback to emphasize the attention to detail required to be a successful college basketball player. There will be elements of competition built into the day in order to bring out the best in each participant. Includes a camp t-shirt, free lunch, college practice simulation, recruiting seminar, student-athlete Q&A, tour of basketball facilities, and an optional campus tour. 2024 dates coming soon!
