Football Coach
Jim Hilvert was named head football coach at Baldwin Wallace University in January of 2017.
He came to BW after serving as the head football coach at La Salle High School in Cincinnati for two seasons (2015 & 2016) leading them to the Division II State Championships. Prior to coaching at La Salle, Hilvert served as the head football coach at Thomas More (Ky.) College from 2007-14. Thomas More appeared in four straight NCAA Division III National Playoffs from 2008-11 and won six Presidents Athletic Conference (PAC) titles. Prior to Thomas More, Hilvert was an assistant head coach and defensive coordinator at the College of Mount St. Joseph (now Mount St. Joseph University) in Cincinnati.
Hilvert holds a master’s degree in sports administration from Western Michigan University.
