Kristine Fultz

Volleyball Coach

Kristina Fultz enters her second season as head women’s volleyball coach at Baldwin Wallace University in 2023. In her first season, Fultz led BW to a 13-11 overall record and a 4-5 record in the Ohio Athletic Conference. Fultz coached two Second Team All-OAC athletes in her first season, including the 2022 OAC Libero of the Year. She also guided six scholar-athletes to being honored as Academic All-OAC recipients and two College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District honorees.

Fultz came to BW after serving as an assistant coach under Paco Labrador at the United States Naval Academy. In her first season at Navy, Fultz helped the team tie a Division I record for most wins of any Mid-Major school with a 23-9 overall record. That same year, Navy reached the NCAA Tournament as first-time Patriot League Tournament Champions.

As an athlete, Fultz played for Coach Labrador at Wittenberg University from 2012-2015, compiling an overall record of 110-21. With the Tigers, she was a two-time team captain and helped her team to two 29-win seasons in the junior and senior campaigns. In 2015, she helped the Tigers to the Division III NCAA Tournament Championship match. Fultz was named a 2014 NCAA All-Regional Tournament team honoree and a 2015 North Coast Athletic Conference All-Tournament team recipient.

Fultz is a Batavia, Ohio, native and received her bachelor’s degree in communications from Wittenberg and a master’s degree in adult education from Muskingum. Fultz and her husband, Luke, reside in Strongsville.
