Tony Tatro

Lacrosse Coach

Tony Tatro enters his 3rd season as the Head Men’s Lacrosse Coach at Baldwin Wallace University in 2024. The 2022 and 2023 Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Coach of the Year has won 105 career games in his college coaching career, including 96 at BW. In his first two seasons as Head Coach, Tatro has led the Yellow Jackets to an undefeated 18-0 OAC Regular Season Record, resulting in two OAC Regular Season Conference Championships and two OAC Championship appearances.

In between stints at BW, Tatro served as an assistant coach/defensive coordinator for Wittenberg University where he helped lead the team to a 9-7 overall record and a 6-2 mark in the North Coast Athletic Conference and an NCAC postseason tournament appearance. Four of his defensive players were named to All-NCAC teams while two were also named first-team IMLCA All-West Region selections.

Tatro spent two years playing collegiate lacrosse at NCAA Division II Wheeling Jesuit University before obtaining his Bachelor of Arts degree in communication studies from Kent State University in December of 2013. Coach Tatro resides in Berea with his wife Kelsey.
