About the CAS Theatre Department
The theatre program at the BW Community Arts School includes class instruction, private lessons, workshops, and summer camps for youth. We wish to inspire a life-long passion through classes led by theater professionals with a passion for education. We offer classes for students interested in being on the stage and behind the scenes. Whether your student is interested in taking a semester-long acting class or a one-time audition prep workshop, we have a program for them.
What Makes Theatre at CAS Different?
Programming
We offer a range of programming for students from 5 to 18 in theatre and seek to be the premier location to expand the love of the stage for all in the region. Students come here to receive instruction in everything from acting and improv to costuming and stage makeup.
High Caliber Faculty
Our theatre department has instructors directly from professional theatres to our classrooms. In addition, we work with other CAS departments to integrate vocal coaches and movement instructors with exceptional professional experience.
Community Driven and University Backed
CAS offers programming driven by the demand of our community while having the support, innovation, and history of Baldwin Wallace University.
