Dance Instructor
Originally from Pennsylvania, Laura Hankey began her dance training with the New Castle Regional Ballet Company at age 4. There, she performed in their yearly production of The Nutcracker as well as various Spring performances, including Snow White, The Secret Garden, and Cinderella.
After moving to Cleveland, Laura began coordinating Arts Programming for Horizon Education Centers and Dance To Evolve. She has a wide variety of teaching experience as well as a teacher training with The Dancing Wheels Company & School in physically integrated dance.
Throughout her dance career, Laura has performed with multiple dance companies, such as Ohio Dance Theatre, Verb Ballets, Cleveland Dance Project, Cleveland Modern Ballet, and Ballet Legato. She is currently a company dancer with North Pointe Ballet and also serves as their On-Site Education Program Coordinator.
