Fairytale Ballet – Classics

Fairytale Ballet combines the imagination of fairytales with the joy of dancing in a unique exploration of basic dance technique and terminology. Each day dancers will put on their crowns and be transported into one of their favorite stories. With each new fairytale, the dancers will enjoy storytime, be introduced to basic dance technique, explore arts and crafts, and learn a dance that showcases all of their new dance skills. Fairytale Ballet combines the BW Community Arts School’s exemplary early learner dance education with the creativity fairytales inspire, ensuring that all little dancers will create a solid ballet foundation while having lots of magical fun. This exceptional experience is the perfect way to introduce your child to dance, or to continue their dance education in an exciting new way!

Each dancer will receive a crown, ribbon stick, daily coloring pages, and all the materials required to do a daily craft. On the final day of class parents will be invited to watch an informal presentation showcasing some of what the dancers have learned.

NEW THIS YEAR! CAS is expanding the magic by offering two different fairytale experiences.

Fairytale Ballet Classics: July 29 – August 2, 2024 10:00 – 11:30 a.m.
Fairytales Include: Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, Snow White, and Sleeping Beauty

Fairytale Ballet Adventures: July 29 – August 2, 2024 1:00 – 2:30 p.m.
Fairytales Include: Moana, Rapunzel, Mulan, Frozen, and Aladdin

*Please note all Fairytale Friends must be fully potty trained to participate in this experience.*
