An experiential seminar aimed at practical, tangible, and meaningful transformations that will directly transfer to the band room. The group seminar portion will explore chapters from Robert Duke’s seminal book, “Intelligent Music Teaching” in addition to excerpts from other spiritual, scientific, and educational luminaries who shed light on the art of shaping sound, silence, and consciousness. The conducting portions will culminate in hands-on podium time aimed at transferring these previously examined topics into tangible and visceral musical experience that will directly impact your effectiveness as a band director.
