The CAS Chamber String Collective is currently paused. Plans are underway to reinvigorate and relaunch it soon. If you are interested in receiving updates, please contact us here.

The CAS Chamber String Collective offers developing string players the opportunity to engage in focused musical study in small ensembles of 3-4 musicians. Working with CAS faculty coaches, students study challenging repertoire to advance their musicianship and grow as young artists.

Each semester, students will participate in a masterclass with BW Conservatory of Music Faculty. In addition to weekly coaching sessions, some advanced chamber groups may be expected to rehearse independently immediately before their coaching session to grow musical decision-making and collaboration skills.

CAS Chamber String Ensembles are open to violin, viola, cello, and bass players in elementary school through high school with a minimum of two years of private study. Interested students are expected to take private lessons in addition to chamber ensemble participation.
